![]() The mood is everything in a home theater. One major element to take seriously with your home theater and get right is the paint color for the walls and ceiling. Really happy with the decision and it looks great with the lights off. Here we share our home theater wall color guide including which color you should use for the ceiling, which to use in a media room, and why these rooms are either red or black. I was thinking of doing the walls and ceiling the same color, but if you think it would be best to mix/match I'm curious what combos you would do. Here are the colors I’m currently looking at (some are hard to tell the difference, but if anyone used the color and were happy with their choice that's excellent):īM - Black BM - Jet Black BM - Black Satin BM - Black Ink BM - Baby Seal Black BM - Iron Mountain SW - Iron Ore SW - Tricorn Black SW - Black Magic SW - Grizzle Gray (An audio/home theater company I follow recommended this one) I’ve contacted each manufacturer and confirmed all of them can be done in a flat finish, so I just wanted your opinion on what you all think would be best, or if you had any other suggestions. This will be part 1 as after I paint the walls and ceiling, I'm going to look a new white screen. When I initially did my theater room, I completely didn’t think about room color so I kept the wall color the same as the rest of the house and got a darker screen. ![]() I know this has been asked a few times in this sub and I’ve read a bunch of posts and looked at the suggestions for paint colors. /r/AverageJoeAudiophile for Two Channel Audio - DAC's Turntables, etc. When requesting help for issues POST DETAILS, MODELS, & PICS.Many questions have already been answered, USE SEARCH & See FAQ's.Messaging Mods via their private inbox not via mod mail will result in a ban and your messages ignored.
